Dr. Sanberg named to National Medal of Technology and Innovation
Paul R. Sanberg, PhD, DSc, has been appointed to the nomination evaluation committee for the National Medal of Technology and Innovation, a national panel that recommends candidates for a medal presented each year by the President of the United States.
Dr. Sanberg is professor and vice chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery and Brain Repair in the USF Morsani College of Medicine and is executive director of the USF Health Center of Excellence for Aging and Brain Repair. In addition, he is senior vice president for the USF Office of Research and Innovation and founder and president of the National Academy of Inventors.
