Two USF Public Health students earn national spots to continue training

Two USF College of Public Health students earn national spots to continue their training.

Andrea Anger, a senior majoring in public health, aimed high and was accepted for an internship with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

And Melissa C. Mercado-Crespo, MSc MA, a doctoral candidate in the College of Public Health, will join the Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for a two year post-doctoral training program focused on applied epidemiology.
