Diabetes Partners Education Series
If you are connected to a person living with diabetes, you should receive some kind of diabetes education. The series of videos below are intended for partners of people with diabetes. Diabetes Partners are people who love or care about another person living with diabetes. The videos below take you on a journey through basic diabetes education with couples. All of the women in the videos are living with Type 1 diabetes. The men in the videos have never received formal diabetes education before. The result is a very real examination of information, questions, fears and excitement around life with diabetes. Watch as our participants try “diabetes food,” check their blood sugars, see what exercise does to diabetes and discuss the communication wants/needs in a relationship that includes diabetes.
