Memory Disorders Clinic offers free senior driving wellness program in June

The USF Health Memory Disorders Clinic at the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Medicine will offer the following FREE events and services for Senior Drivers (age 55 and older) throughout June 2008. This wellness and safety program is sponsored by the clinic and the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, working with Seniors on the Move.

Free In-office Driving Assessment
provided by a Clinic physician & includes:
• Vision • Cognition • Motor function

Free Mobility Counseling
Sessions help families & individuals make the decision to give up the keys. Also provides recommendations on alternative transportation options available in the community. Counseling provided by a USF social worker.

Free CarFit Event

CarFit is an educational program that offers older adults the opportunity to check how well their personal vehicles “fit” them. A CarFit check takes approximately 20 minutes.
