USF neurologist named a chief editor for Emedicine

USF neurologist Selim Benbadis, MD, was recently named one of the Chief Editors for Emedicine, a website that is the leading provider of continually updated clinical information and services to physicians and healthcare professionals.

Dr. Benbadis is a professor of neurology and neurosurgery and director of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at USF Health and Tampa General Hosptial. He is an expert in the diagnosis and management of epilepsy that is difficult to control.
As a chief editor for the wide array of topics in Emedicine's Neurology section, Dr. Benbadis specializes in epilepsy, EEG and sleep, and sometimes reviews general topics as well. He has contributed to Emedicine since the professional site was launched in 1996, and six years ago becaume a managing editor and CME editor.
The professional site, www.eMedicine.com, is part of the WebMD Health Network for Professionals. Information geared towards patients can be found on eMedicine's consumer site, www.eMedicinehealth.com, founded in 2003.
