Ricardo Izurieta, MD, DrPH,MPH, recently spoke with 10 News, the CBS television affiliate in Tampa, about a recall of organic spinach and possible link to e-coli.  The tainted vegetables are in more than 30 states, including Florida.

Dr. Izurieta is an associate professor in the Department of Global Health at the University of South Florida College of Public Health. He recently co-authored a paper entitled “A Novel Strategy for Environmental Control of Soil Transmitted Helminthes” in the Health and the Environment Journal.
