Drs. Huang and Zhang attend 2012 International Biometrics Society ENAR
Drs. Yangxin Huang and Nanhua Zhang, faculty members in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, attended the 2012 International Biometrics Society ENAR (Eastern North American Region) Meeting held on April 1-4 in Washington, DC. Yangxin organized a topic-contributed session entitled “Joint Modeling and Its Applications” and also presented his research “Bayesian Semiparametric nonlinear mixed-effects joint models for AIDS data with skewness, missing response and measurement errors in covariate”. Nanhua served as a judge for the Poster Award and also presented his research titled “Subsample ignorable likelihood for accelerated failure time model with missing predictors”.
