Dr. Celia Lescano receives Norbert and Charlotte Rieger Award for Scientific Achievement
Celia Lescano, PhD, a joint associate professor in the University of South Florida College of Public Health, is the recipient of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry’s Norbert and Charlotte Rieger Award for Scientific Achievement.
The award recognizes the best paper published in the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Impact Factor: 6.444) between July 2011-June 2012 that has a child and adolescent psychiatrist as the first author.
Dr. Lescano’s paper summarized the results of an NIMH-funded project (R01 MH61149: HIV, Abuse, and Psychiatric Disorders Among Youth) on which she was a co-Investigator from 2000-2004. The citation for the paper is:
