• Dr. Claude M. Dharamraj is named Physician of the Year

    University of South Florida alumna Claude M. Dharamraj, MD, MPH, FAAP is named “Physician of the Year” by the Pinellas County Medical Association. The award was presented by Florida Department of Health Surgeon General and Secretary John H. Armstrong, MD, FACS on October 25.

    Dr. Dharamraj is the director of the Pinellas County Health Department. Her tenure with the department began in 1984 as a clinic pediatrician. In 1990 she was promoted to assistant director and director in 2006.

    Dr. Dharamraj earned a master of public health degree from the University of South Florida College of Public Health.
