Public health researchers present at the 38th Annual Mid-South Sociological Association Conference
Researchers from the University of South Florida College of Public Health presented at the 38th Annual Mid-South Sociological Association Conference on November 9 in Mobile, Alabama. The team included Dawood Sultan, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management, Ms. Azeb Abera, an undergraduate public health student, and Claire M. Norris, PhD.

Drs. Norris and Sultan presented “Class Differences in the Effects of Perceived Instrumental and Expressive Social Support on Psychological Distress.” And, Dr. Sultan presented “Direct and Buffering Effects of Social Support on Cancer Survivorship” with Ms. Abera.
