• Lynette Menezes appointed to leadership posts in USF Health

Lynette Menezes, PhD, is the assistant vice president for international affairs for USF Health and the assistant dean for international affairs in the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine.

“As assistant vice president, Dr. Menezes will make sure our international efforts are relevant, meaningful and optimized across USF Health,” said Stephen Klasko, MD, MBA, CEO of USF Health and Dean of the Morsani College of Medicine.  “Dr. Menezes will be the entry point for institutions seeking affiliations with USF Health. She will oversee affiliations and direct our international programs through a strategic plan.”

In 2012, more than 30 College of Public Health graduate students traveled abroad to gain experience in the field. Moving forward, Menezes will help create guidelines and policies to ensure that all USF Health students work in safe, positive, and productive learning environments.

An alumna of the USF College of Public Health, Dr. Menezes earned a doctorate of public health in community and family health.  Since graduating, she held several positions in the Morsani College of Medicine.  They include serving as a member of the faculty with the Division of Infectious Disease and International Medicine, as well as director of USF Medicine International.
