Public health students establish Epidemiology and Biostat Student Association
The USF College of Public Health is home to the new Epidemiology and Biostat Student Association.
The goal of the group is to encourage collaboration between epidemiology and biostatistics students. Additionally, members hope to assist new and existing students with their programmatic questions and concerns, as well as help them achieve their academic goals.
“We look forward to hosting a variety of professional and social events for students,” said Shitaldas Pamnani, interim president of EBSA. “The group strives to become a leading resource for students in the field.”
Membership is open to any USF student. To join the association, log-in with a NetID at http://involvement.usf.edu/orgs.htm and click on “Manage or Join an association.” Select ”Epidemiology and Biostat Students Association” from the drop-down menu and “Request to join” the group.
Students and non-students can follow the association’s endeavors and join the conversation via their group on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/bullsepidemic.
