Dr. Sunil S. Raj champions public health in India

Sunil S. Raj, MD, MPH holds two leadership positions with the Indian Institute of Public Health in Delhi.  He is a professor and serves as chief of party for the Prevention, Private Sector and Evidence-based Programming (PIPPSE) Project. The Institute partners with the Public Health Foundation of India on a number of projects. Together they offer degree programs and strive to “strengthen training, research and policy development in the area of public health.”

In December, Raj attended a professional conference in California. While in the States, he stopped by the college and visited with Ricardo Izurieta, MD, DrPH, MPH, associate professor in the Department of Global Health.

Dr. Sunil Raj earned a master of public health degree in epidemiology and global health from the University of South Florida College of Public Health.
