There’s a wave of Bull pride moving across the country and Give Day Tampa Bay is bringing that excitement to USF College of Public Health alumni, students, parents, employees, and friends.

Local impact with a national twist. In recognition of Give Day Tampa Bay, your USF College of Public Health joins a local effort to show off Tampa Bay’s spirit of giving, raise awareness about local nonprofits, and celebrate the collective effort of our region.

Beginning at 12:01am and continuing until 11:59pm EST on Tuesday, May 5, donors can log on to and make a gift to participating nonprofits that are located in Pasco, Pinellas, Hernando or Hillsborough County—like the USF College of Public Health.

Single day, lasting influence. All public health supporters are urged to participate in Give Day Tampa Bay by making an online gift to the college. The giving website makes it easy, safe, and fun to participate.

Celebrating 30 years of educating and training public health professionals, the goal is to raise significant funds that will do good for a lifetime—right here in the College of Public Health. Large and small gifts will combine for a big student impact.

Give Day Tampa Bay is a one-day online giving challenge to raise support for local nonprofits and grow philanthropy in the region. The initiative is led by the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay and the Florida Next Foundation. Each gift is 100% tax deductible. Note that the gift recipient will indicate a donation to the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay. At the conclusion of the challenge, all donations designated as such will be paid to the USF College of Public Health net of credit card transaction and processing fees paid to vendors, which is estimated at 2.99%. The Community Foundation of Tampa Bay supports this giving event as a community service at no additional charge.
