The purpose of AMWA is to improve women’s health by promoting collaboration between future female physicians and educating them on current topics important to women’s health. The USF chapter’s mission is consistent with the affiliated national AMWA’s mission that is “to advance women in medicine and improve women’s health. We achieve this by providing and developing leadership, advocacy, education, expertise, mentoring, and strategic alliances.”
