The BRIDGE Healthcare Clinic is a student-run free clinic located at the University of South Florida right next to the University Area Community. BRIDGE stands for Building Relationships and Initiatives Dedicated to Gaining Equality. Our goal is to create a health facility where patients are treated compassionately and cared for through the collaboration of medicine, physical therapy, social work, public health, and pharmacy providers. We believe a healthy community is a prosperous community, and we will work alongside the people of the University Area Community to improve their well-being.

The mission of the BRIDGE Healthcare Clinic is to establish a long-term care facility in the University of South Florida vicinity that accomplishes the following:

SERVICE: Addresses the multi-disciplinary healthcare needs of uninsured members of the University Area Community by providing professional, compassionate care.

EDUCATION: Provides a setting for USF Health students (Medicine, Pharmacy, Social Work, Public Health, Physical Therapy) to gain real life experience in culturally competent healthcare for the underserved. Educates patients about their current disease states, available resources, and primary prevention in order to improve their long-term health.

COLLABORATION: Forms long-lasting bonds between clinic volunteers and the people of the University Area Community by reaching out to patients and community organizations. Establishes relationships between students from multiple disciplines at USF. Fosters mentorship for students.
