The purpose and goals of the Cardiology Interest Group is to provide a means for learning about and contributing to the field of cardiology. The benefit is in allowing close interaction with experts in the field of cardiac care, allowing members to expand their knowledge and experiences of current practices, new innovative research, subspecialties, and the day-to-day lifestyle. Ultimately, this results in producing healthcare professionals that are more motivated and able to understand the field and practice of cardiology.
