PIC is committed to exposing medical students with an interest in psychiatry to the profession’s many disciplines, as well as to promote mental health awareness in the community. Our lunch meetings will focus on different topics such as forensic case studies lead by a forensic psychiatrist, autism, schizophrenia, and current topics in the media. This year, you can look forward to panel discussion with graduating medical students and residents about the MATCH process, opportunities to get hands on mental health experience through community outreach, and a chance to attend the national American Psychiatric Association conference.
