The Radiology Interest Group (RIG) is an Interest Group that is head by Dr. Hazelton, the chair of Radiology at USF. The group focuses on the understanding of Radiology and all of its sub-specialties such as Interventional Radiology and the many different types of procedures and responsibilities of Radiology and its use in medicine in both the diagnostic portion as well as the future of radiology procedures. We hope to place students with Radiology physicians in the community in order to get some valuable research or shadowing experience for the future. We have plans to start up an ultrasound clinic and provide valuable experience with Radiology equipment to better prepare students for the future.
