MCOM Student Council

The USF Health chapter of Student Physicians for Social Responsibility is an organization composed of USF Health students who are interested in social justice, the environment and how it affects our health, and the effects of technology and violence on our wellbeing. We aim to increase awareness both within our academic community and in the general public as well. The particular methods that we employ are lunch gatherings for discussion, educational video viewings, and community involvement. As future physicians we must educate ourselves not only about how to assess and treat our patients, but also become more involved and aware of the environmental and societal effects that come in to play as well.
