It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience to attend the State of the Union address last night.

I’m grateful to U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor for her kind invitation, and for her support of USF Health and our efforts to improve veterans’ health.  I am proud that USF is part of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Joining Forces Initiative.

As we move forward with our plans for a new Center for Veterans Reintegration, we pledge to do all we can to make sure our military heroes receive the quality health care they deserve.
