Two faculty in PT earn national awards

Two faculty members in the USF School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences (SPTRS) were honored recently by the American Physical Therapy Association  (APTA).

Gina Maria Musolino, PT, MSEd, EdD, associate professor of physical therapy at USF and director of clinical education for SPTRS, earned the 2012 Lucy Blair Service Award from APTA for her exceptional contributions to the association.

And Jason Highsmith, PT, DPT, MSMS, CP, FAAOP, earned the 2012 Margaret L. Moore Award for Outstanding New Academic Faculty Member.

Both were recognized for these awards at the APTA’s annual meeting in June in Tampa.
