Dr. Morgan,  distinguished professor of molecular pharmacology and physiology at USF, is one of three new members appointed to the 10-member committee, which oversees the state’s Alzheimer’s Disease Initiative, including Florida’s memory disorders clinics.  His term runs through Feb. 13, 2017.

The  Florida Department of Elder Affairs Purple Ribbon Task Force this year recommended more responsibilities for the Alzheimer’s Disease Advisory Committee to “focus on the challenges that Florida faces in addressing growing issues associated with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.”
