USF Health Culture Champion Retires After 37 Years

On Friday, March 26, 2021, just days before his retirement, Cheng-Shih Hu, MS, EMBA, USF-CRA, division manager for the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine Division of Pediatric Nephrology, was awarded with a Culture Coin by Terri Ashmeade, MD, chief quality officer at USF Health. Alfonso Campos, MD, division chief of the Morsani College of Medicine Department of Pediatrics, joined in on the celebration.

Culture Champion, Hu, has been with the Department of Pediatrics for 37 years and, “he is a kind, loyal, dedicated employee—who has looked out for the patients and shepherded the docs through many administrations,” Patricia Emmanuel, MD, professor and chair of the Department of Pediatrics, said. “He truly does embody the culture at USF Health.”

Hu retired on April 1st of this year.
