Dr. Matthew Lazinski is honored with a USF Health Culture Coin

 

Matthew Lazinski, PT, DPT, OCS, associate professor in the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine School of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Sciences and assistant director of clinical operations of the USF Health Physical Therapy Center, has been honored with a USF Health Culture Coin.

Douglas Haladay, PT, DPT, PhD, director of the School of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Sciences and associate dean at USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, lauded Dr. Lazinski for his continuous support and leadership. Dr. Lazinski has managed multiple roles, including front desk coverage at the physical therapy center, patient treatment and instruction in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Dr. Lazinski has played a key role in the reorganization of the Physical Therapy Center, ensuring its seamless integration into the School of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Sciences. He has also been integral to the center’s impending relocation to the University Professional Center building near campus. Dr. Lazinski consistently goes beyond his responsibilities to guarantee the success of his team and the Center, aiding in the expansion of physical therapy services on campus to encompass USF Athletics, USF Health Concussion Center and the soon-to-be-launched new Student Health Services.

Dr. Lazinski said the award underscores the significance of his work at the Physical Therapy Center, emphasizing its value within the school and USF Health.
