Okello Noel, with his mother, Oroma Alice, his sister, Piloya Gladys. They are from Kibega Villiage, in Pader District. Okello was 13 when he lost his sight in 2007. He went to a school for the blind in Kitgum for 1 year, but he got sick and lost his spot in the school. Piloya had to leave school because she could not read due to compromised vision. She became pregnant and is now an unwed mother at 17.
