Several USF Health faculty members were recognized for their outstanding efforts at the 2015 USF Outstanding Faculty Awards held in March.
The annual event honors the select few who have achieved significant career milestones and professional recognitions by many of the world’s top scholarly and research organizations.

USF is home to only four with this distinction, three of whom are members of the Institute of Medicine and work at USF Health.
Barbara Hansen, PhD, director of Obesity, Diabetes and Aging Research Center and a professor of internal medicine and pediatrics.
Charles Lockwood, MD, senior vice president for USF Health, dean of the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, and professor of obstetrics and gynecology.
William Spellacy, MD, Distinguished University Professor at USF, and former chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine.
