Community benefits most from COPH annual flu vaccines

The USF College of Public Health once again helped the local community steer clear of the influenza virus. Nearly a thousand people were inoculated Oct. 21 when COPH offered free flu vaccines.

USF nursing and medical students, who have already successfully completed clinical training, administered 948 shots under the clinical supervision of an interdisciplinary team.
