We will be hosting a training this upcoming Monday, April 16th from 6pm-8:30pm at the USF College of Public Health room 1023B. This month's training event will feature a guest speaker and an exercise on Active Threats including shooters, See Something, Say Something, and protective actions that you can take during an active threat. Following this overview of what to do in an active threat situation, we will offer a certification course in Stop-the-Bleed.

Stop-the-Bleed is a national awareness campaign and a call to action. Stop the Bleed is intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. You will learn how to control bleeding, pack a wound, and use a tourniquet.
