Neil Alan Fenske, MD, professor and chair of the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery, has been elected the 2010 President of the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons. The election was held Nov. 7 at the society’s 28th Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Fenske’s will serve a one-year term.

Dr. Fenske was honored in 1999 as the recipient of the society’s Practitioner of the Year Award. He has contributed many hours and held several positions with the society, including a position on the board of directors from 1992 to 1997.

Dr. Fenske’s expertise includes aging skin, skin cancer/melanoma and psoriasis. He is consistently listed in Best Doctors in America, and last he was among four dermatologists in the Southeast and 17 nationwide named among America’s Top Doctors for Women inWomen’s Health magazine.
