In appreciation to his commitment and dedication to the treatment of psoriasis patients over his long and notable career, Dr. Fenske was presented with theExcellence in Leadership Award from the National Psoriasis Foundation.

Dr. Fenske, professor and Chair of the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery in the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine (MCOM), was presented with this award on April 28 at the Commit to Cure Gala in Tampa, FL.

Dr. Fenske is past president of seven local, regional, and national dermatology organizations. During the course of his career, Dr. Fenske has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Distinguished Service Award and Practitioner of the Year from the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, which recognizes outstanding leadership, commitment and extraordinary contribution to the dermatology profession in Florida and to FSDDS. He has also received the Surgeon of the Year award from Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons and Dermatologist of the Year from Florida West Coast Society of Dermatology. Dr. Fenske is on the editorial boards of several scientific journals and the author or co-author of more than 200 peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts. He has lectured extensively locally, nationally and internationally.
