The Maternal and Child Health Student Organization(MCHSO) kicked off the fall semester with a gathering at Dr Kirby’s house on Aug 28th. This informal gathering was a potluck attended by more than 30 student members and faculty. With tasty dishes ranging from chicken curry to homemade desserts, a good time was had by all.

Bryant Smith (EPB) completed his summer FE with the Palm Beach County Health Department. Mr. Smith created a vaccination toolkit and “Adult Vaccine Provision Information Statement” (AVPIS) which has been adopted by the county health department. It will be presented as a poster at the National Vaccine Conference in Washington, DC later this year. Congratulations!
