USF Health Research Day  2012 will be held on Feb. 24, 2012. COPH graduate students are encouraged to submit an abstract for presentation. Please use the format for abstract development and submission available on this website: http://hsccf.hsc.usf.edu/abstract/abstract.cfm . Students are expected to have their abstracts approved by their faculty mentors prior to submission.   Also, this year, we will  have a special section for the Sunshine Education and Research Center Occupational health and safety program.  Therefore, students in the Sunshine ERC should please indicate on the abstract form under the section “Authors & Affiliation”  that they are affiliated with the USF Sunshine ERC. The deadline for abstract submission is Friday, […]

USF Health Student Service Events This Week

Tuesday, December 20th, 6- 8 PM.  Have Fun Helping Out at the Spring Holiday  Store! USF Health students are invited to come help kids who are residing at the Spring of Tampa Bay (http://www.thespring.org/).  pick out gifts for their mom or dad at The  Spring Christmas Store and then help the kids wrap the gifts!   We have participated in this event the past 2 years and it has been a LOT of fun!   Up to 5 students can sign up with Ellen Kent at ekent@health.usf.edu.  

COPH To Offer New Undergraduate Certificate

On Friday, November 18, the Global Health Department hosted a spirited poster presentation. Shan Hubsmith, George Merceron and Scott Rineer presented on their domestic field experiences at the FL DOH Bureau of Labs, Pasco Co. Health Dept. and American Red Cross.
