COPH hosts WUSF for a special veterans event – meet filmmaker Ric Burns and actor JR Martinez

You can be part of the audience for a special WUSF Florida Matters town hall featuring a panel discussion and preview of the new Ric Burns film “Debt of Honor: Disabled Veterans in American History.” The event is Thursday, November 5 at the University of South Florida, in the College of Public Health’s Samuel Bell Auditorium, 13201 Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, COPH, Tampa, Florida 33612. Please join us at 5:30 p.m. for an opening reception and the event starts at 6:00 p.m.

WUSF disabled vets

Panelists include filmmaker Ric Burns; Dancing with the Stars winner, actor and national veterans’ spokesman JR Martinez; and Taylor Urruela, a disabled veteran from Tampa featured in the film.
