Dr. Thomas Bernard was recently elected as a Fellow of American Industrial Hygiene Association. The nomination came from the Florida Section of the American Industrial Hygiene Assocation (AIHA). Only five percent of the AIHA membership can qualify for the Fellow Award, which is given to those individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of industrial hygiene. The Fellow award will be presented at the AIHce General Session on Tuesday, June 19th in Indianpolis. Dr. Bernard is a professor and chair of the USF College of Public Health Department of Environmental and Occupational Health.
