Pfizer awards $475,000 grant to Drs. David Sultan, Jamie Morano, and Meghan Borysova for vaccine uptake

USF Health researchers Dawood H. Sultan, PhD, Jamie P. Morano, MD, MPH, and Meghan Borysova, are the recipients of a $475,000 Pfizer Independent Grant for Learning & Change.  The grant supports an intervention to increase vaccine uptake in minority and economically disadvantaged communities in Florida Hillsborough and Polk counties.

Dr. Morano is an assistant professor in the Morsani College of Medicine, Department of Infectious Disease.  The College of Public Health, Department of Health Policy and Management is the academic home for Dr. Sultan, an assistant professor, and Dr. Borysova, a Health Equity Leadership Institute Scholar and postdoctoral fellow.  The department offers more than 10 concentrations that lead to MPH, MSPH, DrPH, and PhD degrees, including an online master of public health degree in public health administration. Additionally, the department offers several dual degrees, graduate certificates, and special programs.
