USF COPH Students Attend American Public Health Association Student Assembly

| Monday Letter, Students

The American Public Health Association Student Assembly (APHA-SA) Board recently gathered in Washington, DC (March 25-27, 2011), to develop its strategic plan for the next three years. COPH students Elizabeth Baker, a doctoral student in the Department of Community and Family Health, and Brittany Marshall, an MPH student in the Department of Global Health, were in attendance (pictured from left to right in front of APHA Headquarters). Elizabeth and Brittany serve as the APHA-SA Mentoring Committee Co-Chair and APHA-SA Chair-Elect, respectively. They were joined by 18 other student board members from across the country and two APHA staff members. For more information regarding APHA-SA and how you can become involved as a student or as a mentor, please visit http://www.apha.org/membergroups/students.
