USF Health seeks support for the WELL Student Center

| Featured News, Monday Letter, Our People

Construction is underway for the new WELL Student Center, a one-stop student services location for all USF Health students.

The WELL (Wellness, Engagement, Leadership and Learning) Student Center fosters an interprofessional, collaborative learning environment for students in public health, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy and the biomedical sciences. By renovating the former medical clinic, the new center will feature an expansive dining facility, a fitness center, a performing arts and aerobics studio, a meditation room, a lactation room for nursing mothers, multipurpose and study space, and a convenience store.

While student-supported funds have covered 75 percent of renovation costs, urgent philanthropic support is needed to complete the current phase of construction in 2016. Many naming opportunities exist to recognize leadership giving in a prominent and lasting way.
