Dermatology Interest Group

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Dermatology Interest Group is to give students at USF the chance to explore the field of dermatology. There are several goals that the organization hopes to achieve. We will provide students the opportunity to ask current physicians questions and properly prepare for their residency of interest. We will also allow the opportunity to socialize and meet with others who have the same interest and become involved with philanthropic events related to the field of dermatology. The Dermatology Interest Group will also coordinate community outreach and teaching opportunities at local schools and community centers through the USF Health Service Corps. Members of the organization will also have the opportunity to gain clinical knowledge related to the field of dermatology and to improve their skills related to dermatologic surgery.
