Skilled Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants are wanted to provide healthcare by diagnosing and treating common blood diseases and cancers at the University hematology Oncology in Temple Terrace.
The Practitioner will provide healthcare that focuses on assessment, health management, education, advocacy, supervision of chemotherapy and prevention. Roles that might be assumed will be conducting physical exams, prescribing medication, diagnosing and treating illness, interpreting lab tests, and counseling patients on healthcare options in hematology and oncology. this may include both hospital and office settings.
Work requires completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or PA program . Active state license required.
Prefer at least 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or PA in a hospital or related medical facility.
Clear criminal background screening.
Current BLS card.
Current TB results or chest x-ray.
Current physical exam per state regulations or contract requirements.
