AANP Highlights Dr. Frances Sahebzamani

American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) highlighted Frances M. Sahebzamani, PhD, ARNP, FAANP, Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida College of Nursing, in several communication platforms for her achievements at the organization. AANP mentioned Dr. Sahebzamani in two different sections of its monthly E-Bulletin, and in a press release issued in June, 2012.

American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) highlighted Frances M. Sahebzamani, PhD, ARNP, FAANP, Assistant Professor and Program Director of Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of South Florida College of Nursing, in several communication platforms for her achievements at AANP

Dr. Sahebzamani recently received the AANP’s Nature Made Nutrition Awards totaling $16,000, and the “Call for Papers” award of $10,000. She received the “Call for Papers” award for her work on Malabsorption Anemia, Iron Supplementation, Self-Management Strategies and Adherence in Post- Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass Patients.

“The awards recognize extraordinary work in one of the following areas: prescription drugs and nutrition depletion, obesity and malnutrition, and frequency of discussions with patients about the use of supplements,” stated the AANP E-Bulleting’s article.
