Alkhalouf Receives Competitive Assistantship

Abdel Rahman Al Khalouf, MS, RN, a USF Nursing PhD student, has been notified that he received a one-year, $25,000 Graduate Assistantship from the Center for Hospice, Palliative Care, and End of Life Studies at USF.

This is a competitive process, and Abdel is the first nursing student to win this assistantship. The assistantship requires that he complete a project of his own at a local hospice, and work 4 hours per week with the research staff at the hospices involved in the Center.
