Alumni Path of Light Tradition Continues on May 8, 2010

The Alumni Path of Light tradition continues at the USF College of Nursing, as part of the USF College of Nursing Convocation at the Saturday, May 8th ceremony at the USF Health Auditorium.

The USF College of Nursing Alumni & Friends Society invites you to attend the ceremonies in the USF Health Auditorium on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 3:30pm for Master’s and Doctoral and at 4:30pm for Baccalaureate. Please also join alumni and family prior to the Convocations for a reception in the College of Nursing Gathering Space beginning at 3:00 pm.

Alumni will lead the procession holding lighted candles and will form an aisle through which the spring class of 2010 will pass on their way to their seats. Do not miss the opportunity witness this growing tradition and to show your pride as a part of the USF College of Nursing. This tradition is based on the nickname “the Lady with the Lamp” earned by Florence Nightingale for her dedication toward the welfare of her patients by tending the sick through the night.
