The USF College of Nursing Dean’s Office and the USF Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program is pleased to host Ellen Flaherty, PhD, APRN, AGSF, who will present “Embedding Evidence-Based Geriatric Practices into Primary Care: The Geriatric Interprofessional Team Transformation in Primary Care (GITT-PC) Model” at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, in MDN 2005.
Dr. Flaherty is the Director of the Dartmouth Centers for Health and Aging at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and a past president of the American Geriatrics Society.
Coffee will be served at this event.

Join the College of Nursing Diversity Committee as we kickoff Hispanic Heritage Month by showcasing the Latinx culture. We will have music, dancing and a variety of salsas.
The USF College of Nursing Diversity Committee invites you to attend the first USF Health Showcase of Latinx Scholarly works as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. The focus will be on the Latinx community, with prizes awarded to the top three submissions by USF Health faculty, staff, and students.
Individuals from the LGBTQ+ community will share their personal stories and experiences with healthcare workers, share their advice and knowledge about cultural competencies, and answer questions regarding best practices in the health care setting.
Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend!
