Join us for a discussion on racial inequality in healthcare this Black History Month!
The discussion will be led by Dr. Tricia Penniecook, Vice Dean of Education and Faculty Affairs and Associate Professor for Community and Family Health within the USF College of Public Health.
Penniecook was a practicing physician in Mexico, and has extensive experience working in public health in the U.S. and Costa Rica.

Trailblazer Thursday will begin with high tea and spirits with Dr. Loretta Ford, nurse and the co-founder of the first nurse practitioner program followed by a panel discussion. Then we will introduce The Victoria and Alexander Rich Distinguished Lectureship Series lecturer, Candice Saunders, President and CEO at WellStar Health System.
