College of Nursing Installs Electronic Messaging Systems with Touch-Screen Way-Finding
The College of Nursing installed Electronic Message Systems on the first floor at the East and North entrances of the building. The left panel of each system is an interactive touch-screen with many functions. The right panel broadcasts College announcements and messages.

The chief purpose of this system is an electronic way-finding program which connects College of Nursing room numbers listed in Outlook for meetings, events, classes, labs, etc with a map of the College and turn-by-turn directions to guide visitors, faculty, students and staff to the location within the building.
Touch screens can be used to access the day’s events (left) scheduled in the College as well as a a map of the building and directions to the room where the event is taking place (right).
Other features of the touch-screen panels include a faculty/staff directory that links with the College of Nursing building map, the USF Parking map, the USF Bullrunner interactive schedule and map, a USF Health building map, dining options on and off campus, University events calendar, Tampa traffic and local area weather.
