College of Nursing staff member, Cathryn Branch, receives USF Research Administrator Certificate
University of South Florida College of Nursing Post Unit Research Administrator, Cathryn T. Branch, recently earned the USF TRAIN Certified Research Administrator (TCRA) certificate. This research certification demonstrates Branch’s commitment to excellence in research administration at USF.
USF Nursing Post Unit Research Administrator Cathryn T. Branch“This certificate gives me the knowledge and the tools to do my best as a research administrator,” Branch said. “Professionally this will also enhance my skillset as I continue to advance in the area of research administration.”
Branch has been working for USF College of Nursing for about two years, and her primary role is to manage the college’s entrusted resources while complying with university, state and federal guidelines. The TCRA certificate is a requirement for her position at USF.
“We are so proud of Branch’s accomplishment of receiving the Research Administrator Certification.” said Anne Phillips, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Administrative Affairs for USF College of Nursing. “We are so thankful for the work she has done here at the College for the last two years.”
Branch will be recognized for the accomplishment by USF President, Judy Genshaft, PhD, and Senior Vice President for Research and Innovation, Dr. Paul Sanberg, PhD, at the USF TRAIN Awards Luncheon on Dec. 4, 2013.
