College of Nursing staff member, Susan Johanson, receives USF Research Administrator Certificate

University of South Florida College of Nursing Coordinator for Education and Training Grants, Susan Johanson, recently earned the USF TRAIN Certified Research Administrator (TCRA) certificate. This research certification demonstrates Johanson’s commitment to excellence in research administration at USF.

“With this certificate, I have achieved a sense of personal satisfaction and accomplishment,” Johanson said. “It’s also exciting to receive an official recognition from the university.”

Johanson has been working for USF College of Nursing for six years, and her primary role is to coordinate pre-proposal activities involving education, training and research grants.

Johanson will be recognized for the accomplishment by USF President, Judy Genshaft, PhD, and Senior Vice President for Research and Innovation, Dr. Paul Sanberg, PhD, at the USF TRAIN Awards Luncheon on Dec. 4, 2013.
