USF College of Nursing students (L to R) Amanda Wynn, Tania Cruickshank, & Brittany Cox  during Relay for Life 2008. All three are now USF Nursing alums continuing their education at USF working towards graduate degrees.

The College of Nursing team will camp out overnight and take turns walking around the USF Track for a collective duration of 18 hours in hopes of raising $1,000. This year’s theme will be “Where in the world is the cure for cancer,” and each team will pick a country they believe will come up with a cure.

“Our country is ‘Bull Country’ because we believe it will be discovered right here at our Moffitt Cancer Center,” Pitts said. “We plan to have a lot of fun, and would love your support. The impact we can make together is much greater than what any of us could do alone!”
