College of Nursing’s Amanda Davis Receives Culture Coin

The USF College of Nursing’s Amanda Davis, PhD(c), APRN, FNP-C, has been awarded a Culture Coin for showing she “truly cares for students with kindness and awareness.”

Amanda is director of the Accelerated Second Degree BSN program at the St. Petersburg campus and has shown collaborative spirit by leading the program which welcomed its first cohort in Fall 2019. She helped facilitate the inclusiveness of the nursing students into the St. Petersburg community.

Amanda was selected for the coin for her ability to “seek ways to enhance interprofessional opportunities for students, while striving for academic excellence in every aspect of the educational process.”

Faculty and staff who exemplify the values of USF Health are awarded with a Culture Coin for their outstanding dedication and commitment to upholding the mission of USF Health.

College of Nursing interim dean Usha Menon, PhD, RN, FAAN, recognized Amanda as a USF Health Culture Champion in May.
